The effects of lidocaine take place in seconds, so after a Juvéderm® Ultra XC treatment, patients can go right back to their day with ease. Juvéderm® Ultra XC is specially formulated with a softer texture, making it ideal for fine to medium lines that are closer to the skin’s surface.
Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC
Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC is very similar to Juvéderm® Ultra XC; both include hyaluronic acid used to promote skin elasticity to give skin a smoother, more youthful look. Juvéderm® Ultra Plus also lasts up to one year. The difference is that Juvéderm® Ultra Plus has a more substantial texture, making it most effective on deeper furrows and wrinkles of the face and nasolabial folds.

Just before your Juvéderm® treatment, your skin will be cleansed with a top-of-the-line cleaning product. Dr. Robbins will then skillfully inject problem areas with Juvéderm® which immediately begins to plump and firm your skin. Anesthesia is not needed, since Juvéderm® already contains a pain-relieving agent.
You may return to your normal routine immediately following treatment as no recovery time is needed to achieve your desired results. Some redness and small bumps may occur at the injection site, but can be covered up with make-up while the healing process completes the work.
Initial results are seen within a few days of the treatment. Your full, final results are visible within one week. Patients are happily surprised to find the results of treatment last up to two years after an initial one-month “touch up”.
